Volunteer

JRS Australia would not be able to function without the large and committed pool of volunteers which contributes to the smooth functioning of this not-for-profit organisation.

Volunteers offer invaluable assistance in a variety of practical ways: accompanying refugees to interviews, helping them settle into temporary accommodation, cooking meals, chairing house meetings, teaching English, visiting asylum seekers in detention, and performing office administration or repairs at JRS’ shelters.

To register your interest with JRS’ volunteer coordinator, please fill out our volunteer application form and email it to volunteers@jrs.org.au
