Late 2019 saw the first ever Global Refugee Forum (GRF) held in Geneva. Carolina Gottardo, JRS Australia Director attended this historic event.
The GRF was a large-scale event, with approximately 3,000 delegates from diverse sectors and regions, including leaders with living and lived refugee experience and a series of events.

Around 770 pledges were received, with more anticipated. UNHCR estimates the total of financial pledges received to date to total up to USD10bn.
