Refugee Week provides an important opportunity for people seeking asylum and refugees to be seen, listened to and valued.

Last week was Refugee Week and to celebrate JRS are hosting a celebration BBQ for all of the people we serve at Parramatta Park and we’d love you to attend.

 Refugee Week is the perfect opportunity to acknowledge all the amazing contributions refugees and people seeking asylum make to Australian society while also allowing us to work together to foster a culture of welcome in our communities.

Refugee Week BBQ

The BBQ is the perfect opportunity for our staff, our supporters and the people we serve to get together, share a meal and to celebrate the rich diversity of various communities living in Australia and we would love to see you there.

Date: Saturday 1st July 2017
Time: 11am- 2pm
Location: Corner O’Connell Street & George St, Parramatta
Inside Parramatta Park – Gawi Shelter, which is to the right of the driveway when you enter Parramatta Park from O’ Connell Street. If you’re driving you will need to enter from Pitt St, behind the RSL.
