Volunteers'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' Acts 20:35 Volunteers are the lifeblood of Jesuit Refugee Service. Without them, the organisation would not be able to carry out its mandate, which is to accompany, to serve and to advocate on behalf of asylum seekers and refugees. Volunteers offer their services and expertise in a variety of ways, ensuring refugees and asylum seekers ultimately benefit from the funds raised and the support given to the organisation. Opportunities for paid employment - both locally and abroad - also sometimes arise within the organisation. To find out more about volunteering, follow the links at the left. |
