De-identifying asylum seekers isn’t always about protection

In Australia, conversation about people who seek asylum often feels disconnected from the people – the real flesh and blood people – whose lives are most affected. JRS and OneSight eye clinic provides eyeglasses to 68 asylum seekers

Jesuit Refugee Service and OneSight, a global not-for-profit organisation and partner of OPSM, ran an eye care clinic that saw over 80 asylum seekers and provided people with free eye tests and a free pair of prescription eyeglasses, if needed.
